Suspected Burglar Being Sought Throughout Valley

Perry Pemberton, also known as "KP Money," is a convicted felon on the loose.

A Maserati-driving suspected burglar, who cut his GPS tracker device from his ankle and ran from a courtroom 10 days ago, is being sought by police in the San Fernando Valley.

Detectives said Perry Pemberton dashed from his preliminary hearing May 25, despite a $500,000 bail and the ankle-mounted location beeper.

Pemberton had been arrested Oct. 25 and charged with six burglaries committed in Sherman Oaks, Woodland Hills, Valencia, Burbank and Bel Air.

Pemberton is a convicted felon and registered sex offender, using the moniker of "KP Money" while frequenting rap music studios.

Pemberton is a member of the Grape Street Crips and is known as a serial burglar who has struck throughout Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Santa Barbara counties.

Pemberton was driving a blue 2006 Maserati with California license plates 6PIX577. Detectives asked anyone with information to call them at (818) 374-7730.
