Zac Champommier Federal Trial Moves to 2013
The dead teen's mother will have to wait for her day in court.
The federal civil trial on behalf of Zac Champommier, who was shot by a Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy and a DEA agent in a Studio City parking lot on July 25, 2010, will be delayed until 2013.
The original trial date for Champommier et.al. vs United States of America was on Nov. 6, and the date was moved to March 26, 2013, according to Zac's mother Carol Champommier, who filed the lawsuit in her son's behalf.
Champommier found out late Wednesday that there was a conflict with the dates, so the judge continued it until March.
