A large A-list of Hollywood heavyweigths appeared in an 80-second black-and-white video against gun violence.
A significant number of those were residents of Studio City and others who work in the area.
Studio City locals such as Zooey Deschanel, Will Ferrell and Jessica Alba said one word each in the video that was created after the shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown Conn. last week.
Other stars who live in the area, such as Selena Gomez, Julianne Moore and Cameron Diaz, read off names of places where mass shootings took place and then said, “For the children of Sandy Hook, demand a plan. No more lists of names. It’s not too soon, it’s too late. Now is the time before we all know someone who loved someone on that list.”
They join Reese Witherspoon, John Hamm, Jennifer Anniston, Jason Bates, Beyonce and many others on the video. (See the video above.)
