The Budget and Finance Committee will hold its final Budget on the Road hearing tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. in Van Nuys City Hall, 14410 Sylvan St., 91401.
During the 2012-13 Regional Budget Hearings, led by Councilmember Paul Krekorian – the chairman of the committee - residents will have an opportunity to learn more about the fiscal challenges facing the city and offer their input as the city works to close its looming deficit that officials warn could be as high as $200 million. The meeting will also feature representatives from the Chief Legislative Analysts’ office, City Administrative Officer’s office and representatives from various city departments.
