Contractors plan to continue installing the bridge railing and a retaining wall at the Colfax Bridge.
In a report from Los Angeles Councilman Paul Krekorian's office release Friday, it shows that MCM Construction completed the concrete work for the curbs and gutters at the CBS Studios driveway.
Ongoing work includes the installation of the bridge railing and the construction of the retaining wall and footing at the southeast corner of the job site. Next week the contractor will also begin subgrade base roadway paving at both the north and south sides of the bridge.
Concerned citizens can attend a regularly scheduled community meeting with City Engineer, Gary Lee Moore, on Wednesday, May 18 at 8 a.m. to be held a the site location just west of the intersection at Dilling St. and Troost Ave.
