Community Discussion About Public Nuisance, Unwanted Advertisement and More

On Wednesday, the Governmental Affairs committee of the Studio City Neighborhood Council will discuss some of the pet peeves of people in the area: unwanted advertising, public nuisance and more.

Barry Johnson, who is the vice chair of the committee, along with Marcella Bell will present a report about public nuisance enforcement and unwanted advertisements that have plagued Studio City.

Johnson is also on the schedule to discuss the Universal City subway renaming to include the "Studio City" name, and L.A. Rio and eliminating the Enterprise Zone of Ventura Boulevard.

Richard Adams is scheduled to talk about "Metro Lane Theft."

This committee makes recommendations to the Neighborhood Council that in turn makes recommendations to City Council member Paul Krekorian for suggested action. The committee members are made up of local stakeholders and it is entirely volunteer.

The meeting is at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the CBS Radford Studios lot at 4024 Radford Ave. Anyone is allowed to attend.
