Councilman Paul Krekorian to Respond to Romney

Press release about the Los Angeles city councilman responding to Obama criticisms.

LOS ANGELES -  Tomorrow, ex-Massachusetts Governor and current presidential hopeful Mitt Romney is slated to hold a 2:15 P.M. rally in North Hollywood. It is expected that Romney will use an east San Fernando Valley shopping center as the backdrop for what he considers to be the failed economic policies of the Obama Administration.

Councilman Paul Krekorian, who represents the region, will deliver a rebuke to Gov. Romney by pointing out the progress now being made on the shopping center and the surrounding area after years of neglect.

The Councilman is available for interviews both before and for a limited time after Romney’s remarks (from 2:30-3 p.m.), near his district office, located at 6350 Laurel Canyon Boulevard.

Councilmember Paul Krekorian represents Los Angeles’ Second Council District, which includes much of the east and northeast San Fernando Valley. Check cd2.lacity.org for more information or follow him on Twitter and Facebook.

Oh Krekorian has something to say about the blight, the filth , the garbage that is now North Hollywood..What excuses can we expect from you Paul?....No funds?, no support? Well after you and your criminal state and city union slugs raised salaries and pension to astronomical levels and then gave the tax bill to those of us slobs remaining in the private sector, things went to hell...Maybe if you and your criminal corrupt ilk would reduce you salaries to something actually conceivable to all of us in the private sector,we might have some money again in our city coffers for the basic things like street cleaning, pothole free streets and an overall better quality of life in this former beautiful business center in what was once a nice part of the San Fernando Valley and which has now become another mismanaged S-hole...So you and your phoney corrupt council persons can keep you ridiculous political diatribe. I know you stole all the money and as a result have witnessed what corrupt city officials can do to convert MY once beautiful North San Fernando Valley to a 3rd world wasteland..You and yours are criminals Paul Krekorian..You just another politico getting in line waiting to take your share. You ought to be ashamed...

Krekorian is another politician who is the answer to the following question. How do you know Paul Krekorian is lying? His lips are moving. He has done nothing to improve the area since he lied to the voters of CD2 as a carpetbagger. I don't know what part of Valley Glen he supposedly lives in but in my part of North Hollywood (400 yards south of the destroyed shopping area) I don't see any improvements since he started taking a City of LA paycheck. That area has been "represented" by Dems in the 17 years I have been a homeowner in the area. All three of them couldn't give a "rat's behind" about my neighborhood. A shopping center destroyed. None of the three "major" "union-led" supermarkets with a real store (the Ralphs in the shopping center is a blight and a third-tier store) in the community. No movie theatres showing first run movies in a comfortable setting like in Burbank or Glendale. Why Paul? Why is that?

We have not had a decent person representing the East Valley since Joel Wachs left....He voted with his feet....many more will, as well....while Studio City goes Sec 8 and the CRA is used as a tool by politicians for self enrichment for themselves and their supporters, what else can people do?
