Important Meeting Tonight About Medical Marijuana Businesses in Your Neighborhood

School board member and Deputy City Attorney Tamar Galatzan plans to attend the important joint committee meetings of the Land Use and Public Safety Committees of the Studio City Neighborhood Council tonight (Thursday) at the Radford Studios lot.

Galatzan will be involved in a discussion regarding medical marijuana businesses and more.

The issue is controversial for Studio City, because as Studio City Patch has reported, there are more marijuana distribution businesses in the area than 7-Elevens, McDonalds and Starbucks combined.

Land Use Committee chairman Lisa Sarkin said a lot of the answers are now online for neighborhoods all over Los Angeles. A total of 54 stakeholders attended the last Land Use Committee meeting that involved the medical marijuana discussions, including many of the shop owners themselves.
