Krekorian, Volunteers to Gather in Studio City for L.A. River Cleanup

The Ford Motor Company will present the L.A. River Revitalization Corporation with a sizable donation.

Councilmember Paul Krekorian and the Ford Motor Company will gather Monday, Jan. 13 in Studio City to lead a volunteer effort to plant native trees and clean up Los Angeles Greenway River Park.

It is open to the public.

Volunteers can check in at 9:30 a.m at the L.A. River Greenway Park. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided for volunteers as well as materials for cleaning and planting. Parking is available at 12239 Ventura Blvd. for attendees.

Ford will be presenting the L.A. River Revitalization Corporation with a sizable donation to support the city's efforts to broaden Angelenos' access to the river as part of Greenway 2020.

Denim is the encouraged attire, and all materials for planting and cleaning will be provided.
