Another full agenda is planned for the Studio City Neighborhood Council monthly board meeting planned for 7 p.m. today at the lot.
The agenda (attached in the PDF section near the photo), includes some proposals for Los Angeles City Councilman Paul Krekorian's office to introduce to the entire council.
One of the motions involves suggesting that Krekorian introduce a "No Door Spam" ordinance similar to one in West Hollywood (see). The law would prevent ads or flyers from being left on doors or on fences at apartments or houses.
Another proposal asks Krekorian to "introduce a motion to the City Council to require all city agencies including the DWP to remove the tree stump from any tree which it cut down within one business day of the tree being cut down."
The board is also asking that the city Planning Department revise the parking requirements for all medical service professionals, including philanthropic instutitutions from one space per 500 square feet of floor area to one space per 200 square feet, to be consistent with parking requirements for clinics and hospitals.
The reasoning, according to the board agenday, is that: "Medical Service Professionals usually have at least one staff member and more if there is more than one Medical Service Professional in the office."
Board president John Walker has encouraged all candidates in various citywide elections to come to speak, and Wednesday will have Ron Galperin for City Controller and , for State Assembly speaking.
The board meetings always consist of a light meal including salad and pizza from and everything is free.
