Say Goodbye to Ron Taylor and Shoshana Raphael at the Neighborhood Council Meeting

On Wednesday night at the Studio City Neighborhood Council, Ron Taylor and Shoshana Raphael will be saying goodbye to the council.

Taylor has served for six years, as a home owner and then a renter, and Raphael was elected last year as an business representative (her family owns Raphael Restaurant on Ventura Boulevard).

Geoffrey Yazzetta from Council member Paul Krekorian's office is scheduled to make a presentation.

"We have appreciated the contributions that both Ron and Shoshana have made to our council and wish them well," said president John Walker.

Taylor has moved over the hill and out of the Studio City area. Raphael has been accepted to law school.

Walker can appoint replacements and said he would, but will announce the names on Wednesday night.

One person he can name is the Youth Board Representative as 16-year-old Jonathan Epstein, son of the Vitello's owner Matt Epstein.

"Jonathan is eager to be on the board, and has an active interest in politics," Walker said.

You can come to the goodbyes on Wednesday and see who the replacements will be by going to the meeting (with food provided by local restaurants) is this Wednesday at the CBS Radford Lot, 4024 Radford Ave., beginning at 6:30 p.m.
