State Assemblyman Mike Feuer, who is running for City Attorney, was injured in an automobile accident today and will be hospitalized for a few days, campaign chief strategist John Shallman said.
Feuer was driving to Jackie Lacey's swearing-in ceremony as Los Angeles County District Attorney at the Galen Center, when his Prius was hit by a truck which ran a red light, according to the campaign's Dave Jacobson.
"Mr. Feuer did not sustain any life-threatening injuries, however he will stay in the hospital for the next few days," Shallman said. "Mr. Feuer is expected to make a full and speedy recovery."
