Los Angeles City Controller Wendy Greuel has made several appearances in Sherman Oaks the past two months, each time speaking to groups of people about the job she is doing to keep spending in check at City Hall.
When she spoke to the Sherman Oaks Homeowners Association two months ago, Greuel was asked if she would be interested in running for Mayor. She replied," I think the Mayor's job is the best one you can have in this city, but right now I'm focusing on doing the job of City Controller."
Greuel is now reportedly on the verge of filing paperwork that will allow her to begin raising money for the 2013 Mayoral race. In this interview with Patch reporter Doug Kriegel ,Greuel talked about the possibility of running for Mayor.
