Sadly, while I have enjoyed nearly all of these places , the best pizza I have had was at Farmers Market in Studio City on Sundays. They bring in a brick oven and the ingredients of the dough, the sauce and cheese are a reminder of the great pizza's of New York, New Jersey and Boston. It' not oily , saucy, or greasy but just right, light, delicious and savory. Nothing like it in any regular restaurant.

First of all, there is NO GOOD PIZZA in Studio City. UGH. Spark's has decent pizza, and it's downhill from there. I long for a good pizza, and Jeff, thanks for pointing out that our Farmers Market has good pizza. I'll try it this week.

You have to try the pizza at Farmers Market . None of the places touch the quality of the dough, tomato sauce or proportion of cheese. It's cooked in a brick oven and for 7.50 puts the other venues to shame. The pizza is not oily or greasy. Not doughy, square but just the right amount of dough. It's pizza for one and all fresh ingredients. Well worth the Sunday wait.

No Vitellos? No Danielle's? C'mon, both are better than the listed. No chains? Then what's with Big Mamas?

What's with Georgio's ? it wasn't around when this article was printed. Instead it should have mentioned Crave which opened in it's place. What about Sammy's ? Then again it's not updated. The list barely scratches the surface and needs an update before anything final is released
