Harvard-Westlake, an elite private school with campuses in Holmby Hills and Studio City, seeks to build a 3 story garage for 750 cars topped by a football-size lighted athletic field on the west side of Coldwater Canyon. This land is designated open space and abuts the Santa Monica Conservancy. It's a known wildlife corridor and the neighborhood is zoned for residential use. Plans call for a private bridge over Coldwater to connect the garage with the main campus.
"Savecoldwatercanyon" is a non-profit all volunteer corporation organized to inform the community about this unprecedented action and rally opposition to it.
