Read their statements in the links below.

Six parents are vying for four spots at the Governance Council, with elections being held at the school on Thursday.

The Governance Council decides how money is to be spent at the school and is made up of seven faculty members (teachers, the principal and staff) and seven parents in rotating two-year terms. One parent representative is from Parents for Carpenter, and another is from the PTA.

The six people running for the four parent positions will include the recent chairperson of the council, Heather Tonkins, as well as existing members Oona Hanson and Janet Loeb.
