BOOTLEGGERS' BALL - IT'S A WRAP!

The Bootleggers' Ball has come and gone and a good time was had by all!  Thank you to ALL the guys and dolls, gangsters, flappers, coppers, silent movie stars and everyone that attended, bought auction items and danced!  PFC especially wants to thank the many volunteers that helped make this event happen.  It could not be done without you all!  Special thanks to Co-Chairs Marjan Sagheb and Nicki Genovese for a wonderful event and evening.

TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK IS HERE

Carpenter's 2012 Teacher Appreciation Week is finally here. Join us as we celebrate the teachers, aides, and staff who make a huge difference in the lives of our children. Activities are planned campus-wide and in each classroom. Don't forget to honor and appreciate our teachers and staff all this week. THE SWISS TEACHERS HAVE ARRIVED

If you notice some new faces on campus this week, that just may be one of the 6 Swiss Exchange Teachers joining us to see how classroom learning is done American Style. Please feel free to join us for an assembly on campus on Monday morning after dropoff to welcome the Swiss Exchange Teachers. These 6 extraordinary student teachers will be living with their Carpenter host families and working with our teachers over the next couple of weeks. REMINDER: SPECIAL PTA BOARD AND COMMITTEE CHAIR MEETING - TUESDAY, MAY 22ND AT 8:05AM IN CAFE WEST

There will be a special meeting of the PTA Board and Committee Chairs on Tuesday, May 22nd at 8:05am in Cafe West. We will be discussing who will serve as PTA's Governance Representative for the 2012-2013 year. All board and committee members are asked to attend and everyone in the school community is welcome. On Tuesdays at school, we eat Trash Free Lunch. 
We need volunteers. We need a Bunch! 
To help with the sorting of trash stuff from not
And give out Cougar Coupons right there, on the spot. 

So if you are willing. And caring. And ables... 
Come Tuesdays, 11:30, right by the tables. 
And help us to teach each child to know
That their actions make a difference and help the plants grow.

Please help us, Oh help us WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!
