Chipotle to Award Six Grand Prize Winners Catering for 500 People

Win the Ultimate Chipotle After-Prom Party for Your School.

Step aside, prom queen. This year the most popular kids at prom will be the six grand-prize winners of Chipotle Mexican Grill’s “Ultimate After-Prom Party” sweepstakes.

High school students who want the chance to win a burritoful after-prom celebration can text ‘PROM’ to 888222 between Wednesday, Feb. 27 and Sunday, March 31 for a chance to win a catered meal from Chipotle for up to 500 people, plus a photo booth at their high school’s after-prom event. One hundred runners up will also receive a free dinner for 10 redeemable at any Chipotle restaurant.

“High school students have always been loyal customers for us, and for many years we have supported school events and after-prom party celebrations across the country,” said Chris Arnold, director of communications at Chipotle. “This year we are excited to give our high school customers the chance to throw their peers the ultimate after-prom celebration.”

To win, entrants must text ‘PROM’ to 888222 between Wednesday, Feb. 27 and Sunday, March 31.

To qualify, the entrant’s school must be within 15 miles of a Chipotle restaurant and the winner has to receive written permission from prom after-party organizers and venue granting Chipotle the right to set up and serve food at the event.

If permission is not granted, an alternative winner will be chosen. Winners will be randomly selected and notified early April via text and prizes will be fulfilled late-April to mid-June. Visitwww.chipotle.com/afterprom for contest rules and more information.

For students who don’t win but would still like Chipotle to be a part of their after-prom event, Chipotle catering (available in some restaurants across the country) is an affordable option that allows groups of six or more to create their own tacos and burrito bowls using the same fresh, delicious food served in Chipotle restaurants.

Chipotle also offers other group ordering options like a chips and salsa spread and a Burritos by the Box option (available nationwide). All spreads are easy to set up and come with everything customers need to serve their guests.

ABOUT CHIPOTLE

Steve Ells, founder, chairman and co-CEO, started Chipotle with the idea that food served fast did not have to be a typical fast food experience. Today, Chipotle continues to offer a focused menu of burritos, tacos, burrito bowls (a burrito without the tortilla) and salads made from fresh, high-quality raw ingredients, prepared using classic cooking methods and served in a distinctive atmosphere. Through our vision of Food With Integrity, Chipotle is seeking better food from using ingredients that are not only fresh, but that—where possible—are sustainably grown and naturally raised with respect for the animals, the land, and the farmers who produce the food. A similarly focused people culture, with an emphasis on identifying and empowering top performing employees, enables us to develop future leaders from within. Chipotle opened with a single restaurant in 1993 and currently operates more than 1,400 restaurants.  For more information, visit Chipotle.com.

I wish the media had countered Garcetti's claims with an examination of the facts and had exposedRead More his relationship with BIG development. Only the LA Weekly covered these stories--keep reading it and keep posting.

great article Mary! Ms. Korney, she sometimes scared me to death! But always around christmas IRead More think of her and pronounce my letters clearly at the end of a word when I sing. I can still remember the song I had to sing for my final, "If ever I would leave you..." She taught me a lot. I agree with everything you said about Mr. Reeves. I had Mr. Pesin for Algebra, he did nothing to help further my math skills. The biggest flirt around, ick. We had a girl in school at the time that flirted her way to an A and hardly ever went to class. Go figure!! I also thought quite highly of Ms. Requiam. Glad she's still around.
