Disney Star with Dyslexia, Bella Thorne, Comes to Carpenter

This week, Carpenter students learn about differently-abled people.

Bella Thorne wowwed the students of when she came to speak to them at an assembly and told them of everything she had been through.

The Disney startlet of Shake it Up and other shows talked about her struggles with dyslexia and how it affected her studies.

It's part of a week-long program that Carpenter is doing for the second year in a row called which shows and celebrates diversity among students with special needs or challenges.

Check back for photos of the fair on Wednesday, too.

See the photo gallery of Bella and the students above.

Dear tbs, Deon Coles black box is the worst tv show ever. Though it is hosted by a black man, it'sRead More a show based on pointing fun and rude Racist jokes directed toward black people. If there was a white host it would be considered racist but because a black man was appointed to be host , you might have figured we wouldn't be offended but we are and I can't speak for all but I feel like resist jokes aren't ok regardless of who is telling them and I would like tbs to take down this show or atleast change the points in the show ! -signed, Kalil Stimpson
