Eddie Van Halen Donates 75 Guitars to School Charity

Studio City-based Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation gets the instruments.

Musician Eddie Van Halen donates 75 electric guitars from his personal collection to Felice Mancini, executive Director of The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports music education in public schools across the country.

Van Halen is a longtime Studio City resident and made the donation recently for the schools.

Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation is based in Studio City.
