, on their last day of school, held their graduation for the 8th graders as they continue on to high school.
It's a bit late for the graduation, because it's usually held before the school year actually ends, but because of unplanned furlough days by the Los Angeles Unified School District, the year was shortened, and graduation stayed the same because many families had out of town guests scheduled for the event. (The school year was supposed to be out this Friday.)
Nevertheless, the festivities were exciting and tearful, as usual.
