On May 29 at 7:30 pm the students of San Fernando Valley Professional School will be featured in the school’s first concert, "SFVPS LIVE! 2012 Concert."
Being held at the famous El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood, the show includes students of all ages presenting their talents in singing, dancing and acting. Hosting the show will be Clive Pearse from HGTV's "Design Star" and "Designed to Sell". Paying special tribute to the late Whitney Houston will be 15-year-old NicKayla (The Lion King on Broadway) singing “I Will Always Love You.”
Singing since the age of two in her church choir, NicKayla has always admired Miss Houston and is delighted that she was chosen to do the tribute song. Not new to show business, NicKayla won at the Apollo Theater at the age of four, starred in Law & Order SVU, travelled to 22 cities with the International Tour of Annie, recently booked her first tv pilot here in LA, and filmed a commercial with the young pop singing group Mindless Behavior.
The show will be held at the famous El Portal Theatre, 5269 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood. Red Carpet will be at 6:30pm, show starts at 7:30 pm, with a Reception following the show.
