Beloved Rio Vista Elementary School Principal Kevin McClay transferred from the Studio City school to another elementary school in Van Nuys.
With only two weeks before school begins, some parents and students don't even know that the principals have changed. Some of the websites still have previous names and haven't yet been changed.
The new principal at Rio Vista, at 4243 Satsuma Ave., is named Pia Sadaqatmal (see an interview coming in Patch next week about the new principal). She is already at the school and greeting visitors there.
Rio Vista has about 400 students, K-5 and McClay is now going to head up a school of 819 at Erwin Street Elementary School at 13400 Erwin St. in Van Nuys.
