Rio Vista Holds Fantastic Back-to-School Picnic

Studio City's Rio Vista Elementary School held its second annual Back To School Picnic over the weekend.

They give a special shout-out to Home Depot for providing some of the festivities, and a demo. 

There was pizza, a bouncy house and games. 

The PTA Executive Board introduced themselves, and they explained what the plans for for the new year.

One parent reported that they signed up 28 new PTA members on the spot, and predicted: "This is gonna be a good year."

The Rio Vista PTA also wants to remind people to keep voting for the school in the local Target contest. Parent Elizabeth Gay Lannon said, "We're at $50 free dollars, if we get 17 more votes, we'll be at $75!!!!! Let's go for at least $100 by September when the contest is over."
