Whiz Kids: Graduatling, Dean's List and More

Asia Smith and Patrick Hibler both of Studio City, has graduated from Loyola Marymount University, joining over 1,300 classmates in LMU's 2012 Centennial graduating class. Smith earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies.

Nicole Chang of Studio City has graduated from California Lutheran University.

Chang graduated with a bachelor's degree in communication . Chang was among 672 students who were eligible to participate in the Forty-Ninth Annual Undergraduate Commencement on May 12.

CLU is a selective university located in Thousand Oaks, Calif, with centers in Oxnard and Woodland Hills for graduate courses and its Adult Degree Evening Program. Andrew Marsh of Studio City, was named to the Dean's List for the spring 2012 semester at Washington University in St. Louis. Marsh is enrolled in the university's John M. Olin School of Business.

To qualify for the Dean's List in the Olin Business School, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.6 or above and be enrolled in at least 12 graded units.

Studio City, resident and Azusa Pacific University student Lynette Miller made the academic Dean's List at APU. Miller is honored for a spring semester 2012 academic standing of a 3.5 or better grade-point average. A Social Work Major, Miller is joined by 1,650 other students receiving the same honor.
