PINZ Bowling Center has a special fun night for the family in an Adult-Junior League. All you need is a child, and an adult, and $20.
The league begins Sunday, Sept. 16.
"This is a great way for kids and parents to play together, not just watch, but participate, and meet other families," said Barbara Lee, who runs the bowling leagues.
There's also Junior Leagues on Saturday mornings at 9:30 for ages 5 to 19. Each child bowls three games a week and at the end of the 10 weeks, they get a bowling bowl with their name engaved in it.
The Kids Learn to Bowl for Free program is starting next Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 4 to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 22 at noon to 2 p.m. Kids must sign up to participate. Limited to the first 100 each day. Participants must be between 6 and 17 years old.
Senior Leagues for anyone 55 and older is on Mondays at 12:30 p.m., Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. It's $7 a week.
There's a Coffee & Donuts Ladies League (with bagels, too), that's on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.
For the Junior and Senior League information call Barbara Lee at (818) 769-7600.
