Beeman Park Gets Extra $5,000 from Winter Festival

The $5,000 came from an excess of fundraising goals.

The second annual Winter Family Festival took place in December, but the good times continued last week.

The holiday event at Beeman Park asked neighbors to bring toys or canned goods to donate. The Studio City Residents Association, which organized the event, also solicited funds from local businesses to pay for rides, food, games and logistics.

Having exceeded their fundraising goals, the SCRA donated the remaining funds - $5,000 - to the Studio City Recreation Center at Beeman Park.
