In this second of our four part series, you will be lead through a playful, creative and inspiring practice to get your juices flowing. We will then settle in to create a project for you to keep that will remind you everyday of your power, creativity and desire to express yourself. No experience of either yoga or art needed...in fact it's hardly art, it's more like play time!
Rebecca & Melissa, friends for almost 7 years have joined up to create a fun day for women to play and cultivate relationships that go beyond our mats, the dinner table, and the bar top. They both love working with people and are looking forward to this day with you!
Rebecca Benenati has been in the business of Health and Fitness since 1992. Her yoga practice has not only become a way of life, it has become the one single thing that keeps her grounded, sane, happy, challenged and strong. As a stepmother and a mother of two, Rebecca knows the challenges of everyday life so her classes are tough, though not just physically. She is deeply inspired to make space in her classes for her students to feel what is going on in their lives. This, she believes is the only way to fully embody the lessons right in front of them on their mat. Melissa Brohner-Schneider is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Registered Art Therapist and a Certified Infant Mental Health Specialist with nearly two decades of experience. She has a private practice in Sherman Oaks, where she works with children, adults and families, often using art therapy techniques to deepen the exploration of issues. In addition to private practice, Melissa, along with her husband Rob Schneider, also a psychotherapist, run ParenTalkline, a telephone consultation service for parenting.
