McGrath Family, Working at Du-Pars and Around Studio City, Part 3 (VIDEO)

Also reminiscing about their father and seeing Gene Autry around town regularly.

Jack McGrath is leaving Studio City after living here most of his life.

A communications consultant, he generated publicity for many of the businesses in the area, and it turns out he worked at some of the inconic places as a youth, too.

In this segment of their family history, they talk about working at the local gas station, and the girls talked about working atand how strict the dress code was (and still is) there.

Mary McGrath recalls:

It was December 1970, and I finally had a part-time job. Du-par's took me under their pastry wing and gave me a job as a cashier at their restaurant. My older sister Lynn had already been "Cashier of the Year" when she worked there. They loved her, and that helped me get a job there.  In fact, she met her husband of 45 years while working at Du-par's.
