The Sherman Oaks 10-under all-star baseball team already made history by advancing to the Little League Southern California championship series.
Sherman Oaks took it a step further, capturing the title in an impressive 20-1, four-inning victory against Eastlake of Chula Vista at Chollas Lake Little League Complex. Sherman Oaks scored 16 runs on 12 hits and an error in the fourth, one day after
scoring nine runs in the fourth of a 20-10 victory.
The group was honored in City Council by Councilmember Tom LaBonge this week.
