First Christian Church Youth End the Summer with a Splash

The youth members of the First Christian Church of North Hollywood located in Studio City ended their summer with a big splash. The youth minister Justin Jeter had the older youth welcome the new sixth graders into the fold by playing water games outside the Youth Hut.

"This is a great way to end the summer and start the new year and it's a great icebreaker," Jeter said, just before one of the teen members dunked a bucket of water (with ice) on him.

Nearly 50 local youth are part of the youth group that does mission projects and helps the homeless during the year.

Watch some of the fun Sunday evening as they soaked each other.

Anyone can join the youth groups from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Sundays, and they also have free movie nights continuing for the next two weeks when "The Color of Paradise" and "The Day the Earth Stood Still."
