Grab a Shovel and Join the Village Gardeners
A few planting events coming up for you to dig in to.
The Village Gardeners Website are working on the Los Angeles River Restoration, and the first event is Sunday, April 10, 9 am to noon.
There will be another event Saturday, April 30, 9 am - noon and that will be in observance of Mayor Villaraigosa and the City of L.A.'s, "A Day of Service on the L.A. River" event .
(All events are weather permitting!)
Help the Village Gardeners restore natural habitat along the LA River and maintain the native plant garden at the Richard Lillard Outdoor Classroom in Studio City. Event includes removal of invasive non-native plant species, muching to enrich the soil, litter removal and more.

The efforts of 2010 have paid off well. Please help us continue that trend! Snacks and water will be provided. (Please dress appropriately. No open toe shoes, wear a hat and use sunscreen).

13236 Valleyheart Dr, Studio City (south side of river, 1-blk east of Fulton Ave. Street parking only).
