Jeff Carter Kicks Off Exploratory Committee for Neighborhoods

Jeff Carter is on the Studio City Neighborhood Council, and is asking for help.

Greetings,

Two years ago I had the great honor of being elected to the Los Angeles Neighborhood Council that covers the Studio City, California area.

I had been appointed in 2009. Now it appears that another set of elections will be held in August of this year.

Accordingly, I have established an exploration committee to consider another run.

And, of greater import, we shall explore the issues that affect our Neighborhood, County, State and Nation. We are calling the committee "ExComm." In 2012 no neighborhood can view itself as an insular enclave.  What happens in downtown Los Angeles - or New York - or Beijing affects the lives of the women, children and men who live and work in Studio City.

We hope that you will take a look at the ExComm site on Facebook ("Jeff Carter L.A. Co. Exploratory Committee"). More importantly, we hope that you will participate - and bring ideas, comments, proposals to us so that we can discuss and explore with you what can be done to lift Los Angeles and move the lives of its citizens forward.

The ExComm has an email address --- and every message will be answered. Email: carterlacxcom@gmx.com

We plan to meet with individuals, groups and organizations near and far - to listen and to learn. We look forward to hearing from you and working with you over the coming weeks and months.

Thank you and, as always, best regards.
