View Finder: A Look Back at the Chamber's Biggest Event

The crowds were the same, but things seemed a bit more comfortable.

It's taken less than a week to assess the biggest event that the Studio City Chamber of Commerce puts on every year, and the 4th of July day of festivities and fireworks display was deemed a big success.

The weather participated. It didn't get too hot or humid as in years past. The clouds that were in the skies earlier in the day dissipated by the time the fireworks were shot off from the rooftops of the CBS Radford Studios lot.

Some of the pre-paid tickets glitched because Paypal was having maintenance issues, but all the issues were resolved.

"Our attendance was about the same as last year. One reason that it might have seemed less crowded is that we were more spread out throughout the lot this year. We had an extra stage by the parking structure that we didn't have last year, which was a huge draw, and the cars from The Motion Picture Car Club, in addition to taking up an entire sound stage, also took up a good chunk of the lot that we had never used before. We also had about 50% more vendors in our business expo and more attractions in the Kids Zone. We also had more people in the VIP room."
