Monday Essentials: Community Meeting, Thanksgiving, Holiday Anti-Theft Warnings

1. Organizers advocating to end violence against women want to participate in the movement One Billion Rising For Justice, which was highly successful in 2013, and explore how to find a place for the 2014 gathering in the San Fernando Valley. 2. It's Thanks giving on Thursday, with most city departments being closed on Nov. 28. The Studio City Library is closed Thursday and Friday.
