What's Up Weekend: Typhoon Haiyan Charity Event, Francesca Lia Visit, Farmer's Market

Here are five things to know in Studio City for the weekend.

1. In Studio City on Sunday you can get involved to help the victims of the typhoon in the Philippines. Sweat it out with Jocelyn Cruz of JoZ KnowZ Burn N Shed and Rae Toledo Latsch of Dance it Out for a two hour workout starting at 11:30 a.m. at Tumble Kick, 12655 Ventura Blvd

2. There's a workshop Sunday on breaking up hardscapes with The River Project and Water LA at Rhodes Avenue and Valley Spring Lane from 1 to 4 p.m. Click here for more information.

3. Award-winning author Francesa Lia Block is renowned for her ground breaking novels and stories. There's a special program at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Studio City Library. Click here for more information.
