Carpenter Community Charter School
<p>Founded in 1924, the school became an affiliated charter school in 2010 under the leadership of its new Principal Joseph Martinez. </p> <p>The school has a unique active parent's fundraising group called Parents For Carpenter, which provides Carpenter students with weekly music, physical education (including dance), science, and media lab classes. </p> <p>The school has some of the highest test scores in the district and San Fernando Valley.</p> <p>Their mascot is the Cougars, their colors are white and blue, and their principal can be followed on Twitter.</p>
