Burbank desperately needed more pizza places! Now if only a burger place would open in Toluca...Read More /sarcasm Wake me when there's a place that's actually special, like Masa of Echo Park instead of a copy/paste of an over-hyped press release... Oooh, you can create your own pizza from a list of toppings, well STOP THE PRESSES! (Sorry, sarcasm turned itself back on somehow!)

How wonderful. Just at a time when the middle class is slowly vanishing, and the disparity betweenRead More the very rich and the rest of us poor shmucks is growing ever-wider... now all the theme parks come up with another way for the 1% to rub it in our faces. God forbid that the "job creators" should have to wait in line with the hoi polloi.

Maybe it's time to try Henry's.
Fred April 6, 2013 at 05:19 pm
It sure is. Time to leave North Hollywood and come down here to Tujunga Village and eat some famousRead More 50 year old tacos and kick back with the rest of the nice people in the Village.

The new location is much more relaxing than that busy intersection and now there is parking in 3Read More large lots and a back covered patio. They only had 4 parking spaces at the old location and over half times I was in the mood for some good Henry's food I could not park and get my burritos. Now the only problem I have is a little longer line but Omar and his brother are fast and the people are all fun. Plus the food seems just a little taster. Everyone in line seems to be so happy Henry's is still so close and in the heart of Tujunga Village with the rest of the famous restaurants now where it's a perfect fit.
Marlo Tornel, 21, and his mother Martha open Cactus Tacos.

Please new owner make sure there is a nice big outside area and lotsa light inside, that's whyRead More Henry's and Aroma and Caioti are so attractive to us So Cal people. Prior restaurants on this site after BBQ have been so dark and nightclub like. Also, must be totally family oriented, room for strollers and kid's menus. That's the dynamic that works inTujunga Villiage. Hope to see you soon.

Plenty of bright stroller friendly places in Tujunga Village. Nothing wrong with a niceRead More ""adult romantic place" so stop whining !!!'
Sheri Haas June 5, 2013 at 03:17 pm
Nope, nothing wrong with it, but many have tried and failed. That building has had too manyRead More incarnations to count. This remodel has gone on and on and on. I thought it was gone before it opened.
Martha Silva and Marlo Tormel and Marlo Jr. ready to open Cactus Tacos/Studio City.

Welcome to the neighborhood and kudos on the plans to introduce healthy options. However, canolaRead More oil and soy are not healthy under any circumstances. Olive oil is not unhealthy, but loses any real health benefits once heated to most cooking temps. You might consider expeller pressed coconut oil or grapeseed oil. Wheat tortilla are really no healthier than white flour tortillas. Have you considered gluten free options? Most corn tortillas are gluten free, but you would have to ensure that fillings are also gluten free. There are also gluten free substitutions for flour tortillas.

I used to date a fellow who worked at this place, but back then, I think it was the Moakov Cliff orRead More something...

Sad to see that the greedy property owner actually leased to someone who wants to do another tacoRead More stand. somehow seems like a slap in the face to Henrys.. 50+ year old tradition in Studio City.. I wish the new folks luck, but it seems a "burger" place might have been more needed,.

I started going to Henry's in 1961 at the age of 12. It was our "hang out" while in highRead More school at NHHS. I initially was sad to see Henry's go but was then glad that they were back in their new location. I feel that there is room for Cactus Tacos in our neighborhood and that they will bring in something different and new. I wish them luck and intend to try their food as soon as possible. As an aside, Omar at Henry,s needs to look at his reviews on yelp and make some changes. The "new Henry's" is not as good as when Janice Hood owned it. Don't try to fix what is not broken

It won't be free food, but it will be cheap...stay tuned for the deals coming from Cactus tacos asRead More they post them!
