The pantry serves everyone regardless of religion, race, creed.</p> <p>Food is collected by congregations, individuals, and community groups and donated or sold by The Los Angeles Regional Foodbank. It is distributed by volunteers to around 500 families per week. Originally founded in 1892, the First United Methodist Church of North Hollywood offers a religious community based…More on scripture, tradition, reason and experience. As an establishment, it continues to support charitable causes in the local community and around the world today. It is a partner in the Interfaith Food Pantry and serves at the San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission.  It supports missionaries in the US and in Thailand.  The church's historic building, built in 1949, is available for movie shoots and has been filmed already for a variety of scenes.</p> <p>Sunday mornings worship services are at 8:15 in the Boyer Chapel and at 10:30 in the Sanctuary. Pastor Dr. Joey McDonald presides.</p>
