Paul Koretz was born in the San Fernando Valley and was sworn in to the Los Angeles City Council on JulyMore 1, 2009. His wife, Gail, was an aide to legendary Council member Joel Wachs, who represented Studio City for three decades.</p> <p>He is the chairman of the Audits & Governmental Efficiency committee, as well as vice chair of Personnel. He is also a member of the Budget & Finance, Energy & Environment and the Transportation committees.</p> <p>Koretz covers a slice of the Studio City Patch that borders Fulton Avenue  on the west, Burbank Boulevard to the north and Laurel Canyon Boulevard to the east, north of Riverside Drive. The boundary includes the area between Fulton and Coldwater Canyon and jogs all the way up the hill to Mulholland Drive. He also represents the area south of Mulholland Drive down the hill toward Beverly Hills.</p>

Paul Krekorian's District 2 council seat covers a majority of Studio City, except the eastern end represented by TomMore LaBonge, and a carved out slice of an area represented by Paul Koretz.</p> <p>The area for Krekorian is on the west side of the 170 and 134 freeways, west of Vineland, west of Wrightwood, south of Mulholland Drive, east of Coldwater Canyon Boulevard and south of Riverside Drive.</p> <p>Councilmember Paul Krekorian is chairman of the Budget & Finance Committee and also serves on the city's Public Safety and Public Works committees.
