Arminae Reames, Neighbor

Arminae Azarian Reames: SAG,AEA,AFTRA is the founder and artistic director of Stage Right Productions LA, an after school musical theater enrichment program since 2009 for Ages 9-17. Since the onset of her youth musical theater company Arminae implemented and headed her after school musical theater enrichment programs at Carpenter Elementary School and at Lanai Road Elementary School. She has directed staged and choreographed several musical theater productions for casts as few as 8 to as many as 50 students. Arminae has also been asked to teach ongoing professional workshops for children and teens alongside a prestigious panel of celebrity and professional acting and musical theater coaches for: Us performing Arts Camps. She has judged for Starpower National Talent competitions as well as for the very prestigious Music Center Spotlight Awards at the Music Center in downtown Los Angeles and presently judges for Starbound National talent competitions.

Arminae has headed her own youth professional musical theater and acting program for six years successfully in her community and is very respected and loved by parents as well as the children and teens she teaches. Stage Right Productions has performed:

The Wizard of Oz, Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory, Hairspray, You’re a good Man Charlie Brown, Annie, Seussical, The Little Mermaid, “Junie B Jones the Musical”The Littlest Witch, Upcoming Shrek Jr. this summer, as well as many original works from professional and aspiring young writers. Her professional approach and team of Professionals from set design to costume design to Musical directors who stem from Broadway, AAMDA, UCLA and Yale has made Stage Right the after school youth musical theater training and performing program of choice. Arminae also coaches privately for television, film, theater and has coached many students successfully into Millikan Performing Arts Academy, LACHSA and her students have won several categories at DTASC.(Drama Teachers Assoc of Southern California)

Arminae started dancing at the age of seven, attended the HS of Performings Arts in Manhattan and graduated from the prestigious Circle in the Square/NYU Theater School in NYC. Her Broadway and National tour credits include principal roles in:

A Chorus Line, Cats, Evita, Gotta Getaway with Loretta Divine and the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes, Carnal knowledge with Jon Cryer and Judd Nelson, The Three Penny Opera, Guys and Dolls with Jerry Stiller and the Los Angeles Shakespeare festivals production of Twelfth Night which she was cast in the lead role as Olivia upon arrival to Los Angeles in 1993. Arminae received rave reviews in the Los Angeles Times Calendar section and was noted as “new talent to watch.”She was also a member of the prestigious Guthrie Theater Repertory Acting company in Minneapolis Minnesota. Her wide variety of television and film credits include: principal, series regular, guest star, guest lead and recurring roles in: Disney’s Mulan and Tarzan in which she was cast as the singing voice of Glen Close, HBO’s The Sender with Michael Madsen, Touch Me starring Greg Louganis, Seinfeld, The Guardian, NYPD Blue, Jag, Eyes, Judy’s Gotta Gun, Endgame, Lifetime’s original series Maggie, City Of Angels with Blair Underwood, Octavia Spencer and Viola Davis, Brooklyn South, Melrose Place, Bold and The Beautiful and The Guiding light.
