Jennifer Warner
Jennifer has been dedicated to saving and protecting animals of all kinds since childhood, and continues to work towards her goal of improving animals' lives and educating those around her about their plight in today's world.
A prolific writer and editor, she has worked in the editorial department of the United Nations, translated documents for UNICEF volunteering in Africa, was Editor in Chief of one of the biggest online magazines for nearly a decade, was the creator, webmaster and editor of the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA's website for 10 years as well as a pet adoptions counselor. Since 2008 she has been the blog editor and Director of Shelter Outreach at North America's largest non-profit pet adoption website, Adopt-a-Pet.com. Jennifer moved to Los Angeles in 1997. In her local community, she currently volunteers for the Los Angeles Animal Services East Valley shelter, for a local dog and cat rescue organization, and runs WoofTags.com, a website that sells pet ID tags as a fundraising tool for homeless pets. Pets are her passion! Her Patch blog focuses on local pet-centric issues like local pets for adoption, our local shelters, pet businesses, events, and pet related issues.
