Jordan, 15, just completed ninth grade at Campbell Hall, where he is on the Headmaster's List. Jordan is an avid filmmaker and movie buff. This spring a comedy short he co-directed last summer at the Harvard-Westlake film camp was named Best Comedy at both Chicago's CineFilm Festival and the West Haven Film Festival, in Connecticut. That recognition follows his Grand Prize Award at 2008's California Student Media Festival, for a documentary short A Day to Remember about the friendship between students at his former elementary school, The Laurence School in Valley Glen, and those at the Lohman School for Special Education in North Hollywood.

In June, Jordan interviewed Jim Carrey about Carrey's new comedy Mr. Popper's Penguiens on the Mike at the Movies show on the Reelz Channel.

An accomplished guitar player, singer and songwriter, Jordan also regularly reviews new and classic movie releases on YouTube and writes a blog about movies.

Here on Patch, Jordan produces pieces that focus on perspectives and issues for Studio City teens.
