I treat culturally diverse individuals, couples and groups. As a result of my own process as a “woman of a certain age” who returned to school and embraced a new career later in life, I specialize in working with couples, individuals, and groups with issues related to finding fulfillment over the lifespan. I have education, training, and life experience to help you discover new pathways for living life more fully and creatively.

I bring to my work as a psychotherapist experience and knowledge earned from over 25 years in business, consulting, professional development and a lifelong study of mindfulness and Buddhism. Prior to retuning to graduate school, as principal of Krown Associates, I was a seminar leader, educator, career and public relations consultant and fundraiser for non-profits. 

I also incorporate my lifelong interest in the arts, literature, myth, philosophy, spirituality, and dance and movement into my work as a therapist. 

My interest in psychology and consciousness began as a English Major in graduate school.   I entitled my thesis The Mad World of the Family as demonstrated in the work of novelist John Cheever and psychiatrist, RD Laing. The time was the crest of the Women's and Sexual revolutions.  It was the 60’s and 70’s with the Beatles popularizing Eastern gurus and the age of Flower Power.
