What Omar Says to Henry's Fans

The owner of little words thanks the people of Studio City.

Omar Vega is relatively shy man, of little words, but he was completely speechless by the show of support in the first day of Henry's Tacos re-opening.

"I am overwhelmed, we just put up a sign that says we're open and people came," Vega said. "We were busy all day."

He estimated about 300 to 400 customers flocked to welcome them back their new location where Studio Sub once operated.

"I want to thank everyone in Studio City for their support," Vega said, 42. "I hope that I can be here for 50 years, too."

Vega is operating the relocated Henry's with his brother Gil as well as cooks Oscar Reyes and Esai Busio. All four of them worked with Janis Hood at the previous shop, and Omar was the head cook there for 21 years.

"We are keeping everything the same for right now, there will be no changes," Vega said about the menu. "The prices will still be the same."

That means a taco for $2.75 and a combo burrito for $3.95.
