Bryan Chan and Friends Music Showcase

We are set for another night of music at Jumpcut Café (formally Lulu’s Beehive) at 13203 Ventura Blvd Studio City 91604  Aug 17th between 6pm and 10pm.. This will be, as always, an up close and intimate performance.  Jump Cut Cafe serves awesome coffee drinks, sandwiches, soups, salads and taste treats. There will be no cover charge for this event. The line up for the night is as follows.

6pm to 6:30pm--- Siobahn Carmean
Siobhan Carmean California singer songwriter out of Laurel canyon with the soulful Lon Price on saxophone and the gifted Julie Chadwick singing with her for sweet set of original tunes.

6:30pm to 7pm--- Andy Rigrod
Take a musical trip back in time with Andy. Sure to bring back the memories.

7pm to 7:30--- David Staller
What's a David Staller? He's an American original wild rockin man with a percussive acoustic sound that came about from being a frustrated drummer. His influences range from the Adolescents to Abba to AC/DC and the Bee Gees.
 
7:30pm to 8pm--- Bryan Chan
Bryan Chan always trying to achieve the goal of giving blues music the heart, soul and respect it deserves. Competed at the 2009 International Blues Challenge in Memphis TN.

8pm to 8:30pm--- Kimm Rogers
Kimm Rogers is playing her first show in L.A. in many years. Kimm recorded two albums on Island Records several years back and is currently recording a new one in town.

8:30pm to 9pm---Jef Scott
Jef has been an acclaimed session musician (Tori Amos & The Bangles) for many years. He wrote and recorded hit songs in America and Australia. Scott scored in the states when his band The Men had a radio hit with "The Church of Sin & Logic" and in Australia with "Daddy's Gonna Make You A Great Big Star" with his Australian outfit "Company of Strangers." Jef can be seen and heard around Los Angeles with his current band The Ghostwriters.

9pm to 9:30pm---Marc Platt
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Marc Platt has been involved in the L.A. Music Scene since the early 1980's. Marc is currently supporting a few EP projects around town. The first is Blue Collar, which was produced by Lisa Nemzo and is getting great reviews. The 2nd EP is The Drake Project, which are songs either by or about Nick Drake.
