We all know what IQ is, but research is beginning to show
that Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is just as, if not more, important than
academic performance or innate intelligence. On Tuesday, Oct. 22, renowned
psychotherapist Dr. Jeffrey Jessum will join us for an enlightening parent
education session. Dr. Jessum will help us understand exactly what EQ is, what
its role is in education and in our daily interactions, how actively teaching
it can support and extend a student’s natural gifts, and how EQ helps an
individual enter the working world with confidence and charisma.
