LAPD seeks suspects in missing purse taken Studio City Ralph's check-out line.

Los Angeles police wants Studio City residents to know various thefts resulting from public distractions are taking place at stores along Ventura Boulevard.

Senior Lead Officer Michael Lewis reports that on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at Ralph's Supermarket on Ventura Boulevard and Vineland Avenue a woman placed her purse on the self checkout counter and was distracted.

The woman then looked down and realized her purse was gone.

Lewis said that upon reviewing the store video survelliance it showed two black men, approximately 28 years old and both wearing black hoodies, taking her property.

"I have had a number of these thefts," Lewis added. "It's not just at this store but at stores along Ventura Blvd throughout Studio City."
