Schools Honor the Guys in the Family

Million Father March has events at all the Studio City schools today.

They're uncles, dads, step-fathers, godfathers, grandfathers and they came from their jobs, in doctor uniforms, in suits, in overalls, to be with their children at school for the Million Father March, which was part of a national celebration across the country.

Walter Reed Middle School, Valley View, Carpenter, Rio Vista, Colfax, North Hollywood High School, Oakwood, Oakdale, Campbell Hall and Harvard-Westlake  all honored all significant male caregivers that take their children to school and are part of their education.

It was particularly rainy Monday, which put a damper on some events, but some of the schools handed out certificates of thanks for the guys who showed up with their children.
